The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, Has Some Great Recipes

I LOVE Ree Drummond, she's my absolute favorite on the Food Network and I catch her every chance I can get. Heck, I cried with her when her oldest daughter went off to college. In my defense though, I cry at sappy commercials. I follow her on Instagram and I love her blog as well, she's great. She makes food that are simple and very doable for the every day person. Yes, some of her recipes aren't exactly low on fat but a lot are, I'd say it's a good balance between both.

Then again, living on the ranch as she does, I'm sure she and everyone else in her family gets quite a bit of a workout each day and they don't have to watch their calorie intake so much.
I think that applies to most situations these days - there's nothing wrong with fat or calories if you burn them off straight away and sadly most of us just don't get the chance :(

Her recipes look good, but her show totally turned me off.
One of the shows I saw was cooking when you need to buy groceries.
She was saying her cupboards were pretty much bare but she actually had enough supplies to last at least another week. Not realistic at all.
