The things we eat?

Yeah, I was aware of the insect thing allowed. I never cared about raisins anyway. But tomato paste and puree? Extra protein I reckon. Not like there aren't microscopic eggs or tiny insects in the food we grow at home, either...

True that on the things we grow. I know after I bring garden veggies in, even after washing, there seems to be an explosion in the number of those small flies like fruit flies and such. I cover drains when not in use, have small zappers plugged into outlets and at this point am thankful for the harvest! 👍

I found these cool little plastic sticky things on Walmart's website that I put in my houseplants. I tend to get fungus gnats that like bananas and wine. Since I got those things last year I haven't had any issues. I also periodically run a little baking soda and vinegar down my drains which pushes any drain flies right on out plus clears the sludge they like so much.

I just know most of my flour is protein enriched (weevils)
Growing up it was always interesting to watch the cereal moving (of course that got tossed quickly). It wouldn't take long in a box of cereal for the eggs to hatch.

Yeah I am sure everytime I eat bread, waffles, etc. I'm getting some powdered insect protein. Ah well.
