Tomato Jam

Ingredients
2 pounds of tomatoes (about 8 medium size)
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon ginger
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon salt
and some heat (optional) I love heat!

Method
Cut tomatoes into chunks and put everything in a saucepan and bring mixture to a boil for about 5 minutes, until tomatoes start breaking down, and then low and slow simmer. I simmered for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. This will reduce overall by about 75% It may seem like a lot or even too much when you start, but by the time most of the liquid evaporates out, it will reduce significantly.

Let lava cool and then stuff product in your face repeatedly.
