Corn in chili sounds icky. I guess hominy in black bean chili might be alright, but not sweetcorn. I'd rather chili have no corn.I'm not really a fan of sweetcorn. To me it's a rather a one dimensional taste - it's sweet and that's about it. And I'm not really a fan of sweet per se. I bought a ready made chilli from a good gourmet brand not long ago and it turned out to have sweetcorn in it along with the red beans. I literally couldn't eat it.
