I had a coworker once suggest putting ground coffee (just a tbsp or so) in beef burgers.
That's a great idea. I can see that really working with dark rye taste.I use it in making rye bread.

I know you can do something similar with tea. Never thought of using coffee
I've sort of done that with tea except you crack the shell all over so you get the cracked shell look on the egg. Japanese tea eggs I think they're called.
