Hey, one more vegan recipe, this time, falafel
Not sure how many here know that dish, it is a "basic" food street here in Israel.
So, here is the recipe...
Ingredients:
500gr chickpeas - soaked for 12 hours in water, not cooked/boiled, just soak in water 12 hours before start making the falafel.
Parsley (a bundle)
Coriander (a bundle)
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp cummin
1 small onion
4-5 garlic cloves
1 spoon sweet paprika
2 tbsp baking soda
1 hot chili pepper
Method:
Grind all of the ingredients in a meat grinder, do it twice.
(if you don't have one, use a food processor).
Make a nice "balls" with spoons/ your hands / the falafel tool if you have it...
Fry in a hot deep oil.
Serve with tahini sauce /humus.
I'm attaching a short video, I hope it is ok...
