Vegetable curries

Another thing I quite like in a curry is a boiled egg. Cut longways, the yolk is absorbent.

Just like my egg, beans and chips.

Of course, another thing about home-cooked curries is that you can get out all the various pickles and chutneys. If you're like me, you'll have a ridiculous number of these things in the cupboards.
 
I can recall having four different makes of garlic pickle in the kitchen cupboard at one stage. There was also garlic chutney just in case we needed a little variety.
