I don’t mind it as long as the power holds. My brothers are all whining like little schoolchildren, and they all have generators and space heaters and all that. I don’t have any of that stuff, yet they’re the ones moaning nonstop.

My instagram feed today has been full of loonies throwing boiling water into the air and watching it freeze; Africans, Indians and South Americans running down the front drive shouting "I'm going home!! "; people pulling spaghetti from a plate with a fork, then letting it freeze in the cold air; housewives using pairs of deep-frozen jeans as axes to cut down trees.
Me? I'm happy I can walk around in a pair of shorts and a T-shirt at 8pm, with a cold beer, rather than having to wear 2 shirts, 4 sweaters, a jacket that is heavier than a sack of potatoes, a scarf, a hat, ear muffs, 3 pairs of gloves, 2 pairs of trousers, arctic socks and boots so thick that I'd need a size 15 to get into them.

It's bloody cold here as well! And yes, we can get snow in Arizona... it doesn't look like we will, but these weather guys don't seem to be right all of the time, so there's that!

I forget what year it was, and for some reason I can't find the photos, but we got THREE FEET of snow ... I had a blast, DH was grousing away...
Haven’t stuck my head out yet, but it’s been snowing all night, will continue all day today, and my brother 75 minutes west of me states that he’s got 10 inches/25 centimeters of snow so far.
