Weather and other bits

Our weather still can't make its mind. I was was Heavenly all of yesterday, but today was cold and wet. I carried up several armloads of wet wood from the firewood stack to fire up the wood stove to take the chill off.

Yeah we're back to managing without the stove.
It's too warm in the day for it (for me at least) and last night it was still 8°C this morning.... but we've had -3°C mornings coupled with fully sun days only getting to 14°C..

Right now we're due cold nights and sunny days for the next 2 weeks (no rain on the horizon). Not sure what we'll do with the stove. My OH prefers it lit for the evenings. I don't for the days. Evenings, I'm unsure, but I like being able to sleep with the windows open even when it's cold, which is something we can't do with the stove lit because at the top of a mountain, cold air gets pushed down and it comes into the house all too easily.

Sounds like here. Heat on in the morning a bit and then off and open in the day.
