I little more research reveals that the “Duo” in Joseph Joseph Duo is just part of the product line name, it doesn’t actually mean anything beyond that…at least that’s the way I read it.

If it makes you feel any better the dual blade one I had a while ago (different brand) got binned because the gap between the two blades (plain and julienne) meant it did neither task properly.I didn't even see the two options for buying either one until I scrolled down... Kind of like hiding that Tag window towards the bottom
