What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy (2025)?

Looked like they sorted the problem out before I bought mine just over two months ago.
I don’t generally have a problem with my electrics tripping. Even the Ninja outdoor oven which is renowned for causing the electric to trip has been fine. I run two at the same time with no problems.


I did see those and briefly considered the grill plates but it’s such a small surface areas I’d be there forever trying to churn out enough food for everyone!

I had the entire downstairs rewired some years back when I had work done and a full new kitchen, so I figure my electrics should be ok.
Fair point about the grill area, I used to have a George Foreman years back, and even the large one was barely big enough for 2 people lol, but using it just for me will be fine.

I think for a lunch time panini for one or two it would be perfect.

Replacing mainly :Microwave ( Mr. Man will be purchasing when mine dies. Annoyed about that) + stick blender, my fault I buy the cheapest and use it to death. It sounds like a banshee. I quite like air fryers, he is suspicious. Give it 5 years. I’ll find one on the counter “ look at this isn’t it cool. It’s called an Air Fryer”.

On that note of preparation though I'm planning on going to Buc'ees this holiday Monday and buying a tabletop grill I've been looking at for years. Time to jump with a sale! (Pippi gets a bag of their jerky, beef, for enduring the ride...)

Started bouncing around on the 'net and getting one of those at Buc'ees would be silly but a fun trip. Blew through Walmart and got the expert model... Pippi supervised construction.

I've had this for about 4 years and I love it. It's a toaster oven, convection oven, air fryer, rotisserie oven, toaster, broiler, dehydrator, etc. It's great when you don't want to heat up the big oven for something small but it's big enough you can rotisserie a 4 lb chicken in it. I've never done that though. But we use it daily and sometimes twice a day.

Looks great, like my Ninja 10 in 1 oven.
Does that have a microwave though? My Ninja doesn’t.
 
My waffle maker arrived!
Damn DPD did not notify me of intended or actual delivery. At 6pm an email came from Cuisinart with a track your order link. When clicked the link said it was delivered 1pm to a neighbour (I was home then, but in the shower).

Nice. I find mine give good results (predictable and controllable) turned 2-3 notches past medium ie a bit under high.

So what's the first thing you're gong to cook on it and more importantly.. playboy placemats, sounds like there's a story there we need to hear?! :laugh:

2-notches past med for waffles, or pancakes or for both? (ty, I had planned to ask if you remembered)

The placemats, no story as such, just spotted em many many years ago, and my and my partner had both liked them.
