The tips for using garlic skins (at the end) are brilliant! I just learned something.

Bought myself this for Christmas. I have Cuisinart pots in two sizes, each with a strainer lid. I love the strainer lids; that way, I don't have to dig out a colander. This is good for small amounts. Never bought this brand. I hope it's as good as Cuisinart.

I used to have pots with lids like that. Way useful and especially if the handles don't get hot with long cooking times.

Similar to my main set of saucepans which I find very good. They sparkle from the dishwasher and good for draining. The measures on the interior can be useful. I think mine are ProCook...

I've got an electric one that's very quick and a set of wetstones. The electric one is very precise on the angle and only takes seconds. The stones, you'll need awhile...

My hand held whetstone takes about 1 minute per knife.
