What’s the next kitchen item you plan to buy (2026)?

No. this is just in case I have to cook extra rice for some reason.

The next thing I plan to buy is a new 12 piece dinner set, I've got my eye on a set that is less than half price (for one specific colour) from Denby Pottery who have been making premium crockery since 1809.

I had a rice cooker, but I found I prefer the texture of my stove cooked rice....

I don't use mine much anymore and I can make a pot of rice faster than the cooker can. The cooker heats well and evenly but it's not near as much power as an electric element.

It's his chore to empty out the automatic dishwasher and put the clean dishes/cutlery away.
We use to have a magnet on the from the dishwasher "clean/dirty", but it got broken some where along the way.
DH has been bugging me to find a new one ... I'll do ya one better !!!

Just yesterday, I put dirty dishes in the already-clean-but-unloaded dishwasher.

DH gets so angry with himself when he does that, I mean puts away dirty dishes, which is why he wanted another one of those magnet thingies ... this solved the issue straight off, that is if you remember to turn the sign around
