I havnt had these with shallots but I think they would be so sweet. I have shallots here the wife grew.
Gotta think about this.?

Personally I prefer the small white onions but they've been impossible to get here for a few years now. I have tried the larger white onions but not very successfully.

That would be a beef stew in my drum. Although mine would include potatoes.
This is a brisket, sitting in the slow-cooker now. The recipe suggests serving it with mashed potatoes, but I already have the parsnips in there, so I'm going to make a slaw and some baked beans to go with it.

The house smells all beefy-oniony right now. Good smell.
