You beat me to the punch!
I saw this the other on Food Wishes with Chef John and knew I needed to make this! Amish Apple Fritter Bread.

Yours came out WAY better than mine did!
Very moist cake, fell in the middle, but all in all tasty.
I didn't make adjustments for the elevation here!
It looks great! Mine is glazed also, but it sort of soaked right in. The taste is phenomenal.

Oh, as far as that goes…if I remember correctly, the recipe said to bake it for 55 minutes - when I pulled that out at 55 minutes, it was nowhere near done, and my oven runs hot (I have the offset turned all the way up for pizza reasons). It needed another 20 minutes to finish.
 
I baked a Southern grits casserole.

TastyReuben I used 2 large Honeycrisp apples, albeit I did peel them, we don't care for the peel left on apples.
I did have to increase the bake time by 13 minutes and yet I still got a very moist cake.
I did stash her in the `fridge and it was wonderful for breakfast with Bacon and Coffee!!!
