I think it was OK. It was a cake I made for the folks at the local grocery store, who've been picking me up and taking me home for the past 2 months while the car was being fixed.How did it come out?

I make ginger caramels from the rhizome. The whole thing/all of it is in the pot.I'm not a big fan, but got into it more in the past year.
I used crystallised ginger which of course is sweetened, plus a small amount ground ginger in the cakes, so it's a ginger taste, not a GINGER taste![]()
