What cloth wise, do you use to clean kitchen worktops and gas cooker? Please state exact model and brand of cloth/s. Thanks

The closest thing to then is known as Swedish dish cloths. It minimises the amount of plastics in our house, food and septic tank.

Yeah I sure never paid attention to the brand of scrubbies, sponges, etc. I've bought, but since the OP lives in the UK it probably doesn't matter.Make and model?
I live with my parents so I have no say over what's used. We have a single, narrow cloth that was probably microfibre but has no fibres left pretty much. It's been in the kitchen for years now. Used to clean every kitchen surface oven etc. Massive pain as it's too narrow and small.Anything from paper towels to sponges and green scrubby pads, to micro fiber cloths, to a huge random assortment of cotton kitchen tea towels. It just depends on what I'm cleaning up. I'll usually grab paper towels for chicken blood, heavy grease, and similar gross stuff, scrubby pads for stuck-on things, microfiber cloths for stainless appliances and cabinet faces, and usually a sponge and tea towel for general countertop cleaning. I do prefer some Williams Sonoma tea towels to keep over my shoulder while cooking, though, for less-nasty wiping/drying of hands, knives, and cutting boards, and grabbing hot things. They're big, heavy, and absorbent, which I like. I've never given much thought to it, actually. I guess it's just seems like common sense.![]()
Here in the US we have sponges with a soft side and a scrub side, we have "Scotch Brite" scrub pads, and more. I'm sure you have similar stuff. It depends on what I'm cleaning as to what I use. You do have a say if you buy some things to try. They aren't expensive. It's hard to say what's going to work for you.I live with my parents so I have no say over what's used. That's what I use. The green and yellow ones or the blue ones. All types out there. And I'll even use soap pads/steel wool on occasion. The soap or cleaning solution is also important. All depends on the level of crud or cleaning required. Here in the US we have sponges with a soft side and a scrub side, we have "Scotch Brite" scrub pads, and more. I'm sure you have similar stuff. You would never use these to clean kitchen work tops, gas cooker, oven, microwave exterior and interior etc. Not unless you love scratches. That's what I use.
