Stuffed jacket potatoes (quite large for locals) with fresh cayenne chilli pepper and some grass.

Brunch today was at our favourite deli, I know I always go for the poached eggs but they do such a great dish, my husband had ham and poached eggs on rarebit

Last night Craig made us a ground pork chili using Hatch chilis. It was pretty good, though on the verge of being a bit too spicy for me.

Freezing rain today so plans got scuttled..emptied the kitchen today for the new floor going in tomorrow..I kept the island so I could eat all day..French onion soup, roasted veggies and beer battered shrimp.

Sunday roast with a twist this week.

Thai red curry roast chicken with roast & steam veg + dirty brown rice.

The pumpkin & cauliflower were especially good roasted after being tossed in curry paste let down with lime juice, garlic, soy & canola oil before roasting.

You have to say the Ah Beetz' with great Italian up front inflection on the B in beetz, dampening off to lose the last missing vowel (a).

This looks sooo good, restaurant quality!

Over the weekend, I had a little friends gathering and decided to do canapes. The winners were the mini pork meatballs with tomato and peppers relish, and the parmesan and chive shortbreads with beetroot pesto and olives.
