Oyster Po Boy on Bourbon Street, New Orleans. In the background are Cajun fries, which are fries with remoulade and crawfish. I ate the whole thing. Now, I feel like I'm in the movie 'Alien' and my stomach is about to explode. Totally worth it!

The day started out very warm and humid, so I decided to make big dinner salads for us. By the time we were done eating this evening the rains had moved in and out, the skies cleared, and the temperature and humidity are both dropping. Coincidence? I dunno, but I might try this again when we get another hot spell!

That's 2/3 of a grocery store brioche bun in the upper-left of the plate. I kept stealing little bites from it as I set up the shot. They're kinda good!
 
I've been into smoothies lately..feeling a little out of shape with long hours at the deli and poor eating habits...today's was strawberries, yogurt, pear juice, shot of beet juice and ground flax seed..it was good...but, I'd rather have a fried egg, pork sausage and cheese sandwich...

Oh, thanks. We call the little ones bay scallops, as opposed to the larger sea scallops.

Were they dry? (Not extra hydrated - aka dayboat or diver scallops here)

We mostly only have the hydrated available.
