I'm pretty sure they were in Inverness when they featured the pies. Some bakery that's supposed to be famous for their meat pies. They did use mutton, but also made beef pies.

(doing a 16 hour sous vide duck confit as I write this)
Will you post a recipe, please? I recently acquired a sous vide water bath and I'm on the hunt for ideas. I've made duck confit before but not sous vide.

Rack of lamb ..sous vide and crisped (to DIE FOR!!) - with 3 reds

That sounds good. When you say crisped - how do you think they did the crisping?

Yesterday's attempt at @detroitdad 's Cajun Chicken Pasta. It was very good! See here for comments:

Pan seared SV duck breast last night - first time..will try to do a better job next time (breasts were "leftover" from making confit)
With Swiss chard & winter squash..& an Argentinian malbec
It's obvious that I'm not into perfecting any sort of presentation..cook it & scarf it down!
As to recipes..I rarely, if ever, follow any single recipe.. I usually look at a few recipes, pick out the best sounding parts & go with it
