No chicken salad, but my focaccia is rising out there in the sunshine!Made 4 chicken salads with focaccia so far.
4 kgs mango chutney.
Omelette, fried potatoes and chistorra for my kid's breakfast.
Then a severe look at what was in the kitchen:
Loads of odd nuts hanging around - peanuts, cashew nuts, hazelnuts, sesame-covered peanuts, a few raisins. All dumped in a bowl with a packet of ramen noodle veg spices. Ready for tonight (yes, we've got more visitors coming)
2 tins tuna, mixed with a handful of olives (from the fridge), capers, and some confit tomatoes cooked in the oven with olive oil, bit of sugar, basil, garlic, salt and pepper. That'll probably go into the focaccia as a filling, but I might just use basil, pesto and bocconcini (again, hanging around in the fridge).
Pasta coming up for my lunch.
