What did you cook or eat today (April 2026)?

@karadekoolaid has around a dozen chutney recipes floating around here.
...and about another 50 or so on my laptop. But that's what I do, so no surprise!
If you, or anyone else wants chutney recipes, just let me know. I'm happy to share.
 
Pasta tonight.
Was a possible dish for the yogurt challenge. Pumpkin/squash tagliatelle tossed in cream, garlic & marscapone (and yogurt cheese) topped with pangrattato (garlic fried breadcrumbs), garlic slices, sage and and walnuts.

I got my own back tonight. Loads of vegetables!

We still ended up with the burger (not my favourite by my OH bought them).

I made a hot/warm celeriac, fennel and carrot bake with a mango, tamarind ginger dressing.

There's carrots, red onion, apple, fennel, celeriac, loads of ginger, and more in there. :D

There's also blackberry chutney on the burger.
 
Decided I was going to use a packet of Maseca blue corn tortilla flour yesterday, so it was Saturday's chile con carne, corn tortillas, some local tacos, guacamole, refried beans (with a bit of bacon in!) and a radish, cucumber and tomato salad.

Haven't made diy corn tortillas for a while but it is fun unless you have to make a real workload boatload and the blue always looks great!
