If you have a rotisserie set up, they make small after market roasting baskets. I got one for Craig years ago.Barriehie the fresh Hatch Chiles came out not long ago and I roast them myself on the gasser.
Up here in the mountains of Cowboyville Arizona, they don't have the roasting basket as they do in Southern AZ, so ...
I made the mistake of grabbing "medium" chilestoo for DH & I!!!
For lunch today I had a traditional British crisp sandwich. The only stipulation on a UK crisp sandwich (for most of us anyway) the crisps must Walkers..
They are great as the only filling but I prefer them with corned beef and in todays sandwich I had sliced corned beef with Heinz tomato sauce to go with the Cheese and Onion Walkers crisps - delicious!

Have you ever done fried onion straws? You know, the little breaded fried onion strips? It's also quite nice.Burgerwith gem lettuce, burger relish (loved that), spring onions, American burger cheese, caramelised onion chutney and a toasted bun. It was AMAZING
Sorry no pic because with one thing and another I hadn’t eaten all day and wolfed it down, I think being famished took it up to the manner from heaven level![]()
I haven’t. Had a look and google is giving me quite a few different pics.Have you ever done fried onion straws? You know, the little breaded fried onion strips? It's also quite nice.
Well they don't have to be straight and stick like, but I know I have seen them on menus here as "straws".I haven’t. Had a look and google is giving me quite a few different pics.
Got a pic you’d consider a classic onion straw?
