It is, it looks very overdone but it wasn’t. It was coasted in something that had blackened it but I couldn’t quite detect exactly what?

Beef carpaccio over very, very lightly dressed arugula with a balsamic vinaigrette, with shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, with drips of a Dijon aioli. Craig had non-pareil capers also on his. Garlic and herb focaccia.
