What did you cook or eat today? (December 2025)

We had my kale, sausage, potato soup, it was very filling, very sweet for some reason even though I didn’t add any sugar. We had it with toast and some brie on top. Simple and satisfying.
For dessert I have my leftover poached pear with ice cream. Life is good.

Homemade corn tortillas with homemade refried chickpeas on top and loaded with cheese.

Today was another Mom's Beautification Day and DH & I took her to her favorite Fish & Chips place, but she threw me a curve ball ... "I want the Fish Sandwich today..."

That bugger was huge and she ate it ALL!!!

I had a Hamburger

DH had Pretzel Bites and a Chocolate Milk Shake.

I made a big batch of crockpot bolognese sauce. We’re going over tomorrow to see some friends, and they have a kid under one year old, so I’m taking over frozen meals for them.

Shame I’m not going to get to eat any of it!
