What did you cook or eat today? (December 2025)

I didn’t want to eat too late but my husband said he was not hungry yet. The lamb smells wonderful so I took the lamb out before 5PM.
I normally don't eat dinner but I made an exception this year.

This dish reminds of the roast lamb we had at Crete, very tender, it’s been roasting at 250 F for 4-5 hours, then at 350F for 1.5 hours, and then blasted it at 375F for maybe 30 minutes. I think the rossted potatoes came out crispy. I like them with ketchup.

We're on the way again. Only have yogurt. 👍
 
NYE is always snacky time for us - started with cream cheese-stuffed celery, cheese and crackers, hard pretzels, and moving on to pigs in blankets (the US variety) shortly.
Same here - we didn’t really have dinner, just planning on snacking the evening away.

So far we’ve had mini chicken empanadas, leftover potato salad, and mozzarella sticks with some nice salsa. We’ve got potato chips and cranberry-brie pastries still to come, if we’ve got room for them.
