We always had coleslaw so you must be going back a bit in time there?

Try the early 60s...
My mum used to buy a little tub of it - mixed incongruously with pineapple. Well I say incongruously, but the pineapple works well with the cabbage.

Oh I remember pineapple in coleslaw!

Must of made it onto the map by the late 70's, that would be around the time my food memories start.

I've never seen pineapple in coleslaw. Mom would add shredded carrots and raisins sometimes.
