We threw a bag of instant potatoes out. I have no idea where it came from.
Anyway wife biffed it as we don't use it.
Is it common there???

There are many different flavors in the boxed instant potatoes section. The ones I bought would be the 1st pouch of those I bought in the last 5 years simply because I didn't want to fuss with making them from scratch like I usually do.

Early supper tonight as I'm off in a bit..
no photos, but leftovers from our night with my Mother, Texas Roadhouse Petite Filet, Seasoned Rice and I added in a chopped Salad
Oh WAIT!

... from this plate - I couldn't even eat half of this. The Shrimp I had the other night at home with a salad, mighty tasty!

I had Lebanese stuffed courgettes for lunch, but I'm not particularly hungry right now so I'm going to zap down some rhubarb crumble and ice cream. If I'm hungry later, I'll just have some more.

There's a strong chance if they were served to me and I didn't know they were instant, I wouldn't know the difference.

Does anyone have a brine recipe for smoked chicken? I have a spatchcocked bird in my fridge I want to smoke tomorrow. I've seen a few online, but...

Cleaning out the greens from the fridge so I used kale, leek, parsley stems, lemon thyme & made a frittata with feta. This will cover lunch at work for the next few days

I always eyeball those things. Depends on how big the bird is and what type/size of container it's going into to determine the amount of water and then everything else from there. Double ziplock bags require the least amount of ingredients.

I'd already sussed out the ziplocks and it will go in a bowl in my garage fridge. It's about 5 pounds. I was really fishing for people's favorite seasonings. I'm gonna use mesquite probably. It's my fave.
