What did you cook or eat today (June 2023)?

I have to say that it's not bad. i mean, it doesn't taste disgusting, like Heineken, Carlsberg, or Bud Light. It's not a beer you go " WOW!!" at, but it's ok. And coming from a diehard bitter/IPA drinker, that counts as a compliment.

I haven't had a Carlsberg in many years but I surely liked it better than Bud Light (Miller Light is worse than Bud Light by far). I like Yeungling.

Roast boneless leg of lamb with pomegranate and mint glaze, Greek Briam (eggplant, zucchini, potato…):

Lamb was a tad overdone but was ok. I think my thermometer might be lying to me so will go a few degrees lower next time.

Did you by chance have the bones to roast the marrow? When I first had lamb marrow on a fresh piece of bread, it blew my mind.

We had King Ranch Chicken tonight. That's a Texas comfort food. K-Girl loves it. I think about her a lot, especially for someone I've never met. I hope she's doing okay.

We made a big batch of it so mom will have plenty of frozen portions for the next month or two.

I made frIed chicken sandwiches. I marinated the skinless boneless breasts in pickle brine before dredging in buttermilk and flour/seasoning mix. They were good. No pics, we were hungry!
