What did you cook or eat today (June 2025)?

I did think that's definitely a crocs day 😆
Every day is a Croc's day!

Barriehie i have a great pair of knockoff Crocs given to me by my oldest daughter when she was 12. She's 35 this year and I'm still wearing them. I've got 2 other pair that are the real deal but the knockoff pair are great, too!

Yep every days a croc day!
They were the first item I bought for the kitchen in Spain cos cooking without them makes the food turn out differently 😆

Edited to add I've not tried any knock offs because the original pair have lasted forever!

(the buttermilks, here: What did you cook or eat today (June 2025)?)

the crumb/crust/etc was quite nice.
I do need to adjust the quantities to make four full thickness biscuits.
the thicker two (photo top) were rolled to 1/2 inch using wooden dowels - but rolling / folding the 'scraps' didn't want to work at 1/2 inch . . .
the thinner ones tasted same/etc but came off as too thin for their 'purpose'

Square biscuits leave no scraps. I started doing that the last few times I made them.

That’s what I do now, though I have to admit, it took some getting used to…even though nearly all biscuits here are broken up and covered in gravy, so it shouldn’t matter, but it does. 🤷🏻‍♂️
