Had a pheasant that was sitting in the freezer for Sunday lunch/dinner. They were halved then browned-off before being casserole in cider with apples, with cream being added to the sauce at the end.
Your cauliflower sounds like me getting collard greens. They just keep going on and on...Rosemary, rice, courgette and yoghurt cake, with red pepper, kale and the last of that cauliflower, finally!

I've started the practice now when I get greens I take 2 servings or so and flatten them out and wrap to freeze.
