This is the week we're heading out of town for a few days, so nothing special in the way of cooking. Cleaned up the last of the sausages last night, with a little salad on the side. I think tonight will be egg salad.

I had to look up carpetbag steak.
 
I buy that gluten-free bread every now and then, not bad 🙂
Yes? It is not bad, it has that specific shorter bite, it is chewable faster, feels light inside after eating it, I neglected it was white, the taste is very mild,neutral...I had it with Trapist like cheese snd pumpkin/carrot soup (store bought) and it was very fine!
 
Calzone for me with spinach, ricotta, Parm Reg and fresh moz. Craig made the sauce. He had half each of strombolis with porchetta, onion, garlic, Parm Reg, fresh moz, and the same substituting Italian sausage for the porchetta. I only got thru half of mine.
