Btw. Those photos under the forum thread really look stunning. <The pasta picture, beautiful. I just keep noticing, so let me vocalize it. Are they yours,Morning Glory ?

Meatballs in a tomato sauce over glutenfree spaghetti, Lamb's lettuce, fried red peppers and fresh green onion.

Inspiration came from a bought salad that had a bowl-type combination of vegetables, so I though, why not make some at home. To take to work. It was not as neatly presented as the bought one, but was good food.

This was a craving, after work, came home around 21,30, and cooked Aglio e olio gluten free spaghetti. Did enjoy it.

The pork and vegetables stew came out lovely yesterday. As I was walking around towards the lake nearby, I thought Maybe leave the stew for tomorrow, when there will be no time to cook, and fry up the marinated pork boneless chops today.

A variation of a gluten free banana bread type of cake. I was uncertain of the outcome, as I tweaked the recipe a lot, but it was a hit.

My baking of cakes had A Torta Caprese for my birthday in April. Very happy with the taste and look.

Of course a quiche now and then, red peppers in the filling were quite refreshing. I was also looking forward to the avocado, alas, it only posed with its pretty green colour, but it was not tasty at all, possibly unripe.

Sirloin, Brussels sprouts fried with bacon, and mashed potatoes. Just a typical Wednesday.

I thought briefly that I could enter the mashed potatoes in the recipe challenge, but I used sour cream, not cream cheese.

Normally, we would have been home at this time of the year, but not this time ... so, we're celebrating in "My Kitchen In The Middle Of The Desert" with this

We've got my homemade Kalua Pork, frozen-brought-back-Las Vegas Keoki's brand Pork Lau Lau - Ti leaves removed, steamed, & cut in half to show y'all the inside of this yumminess ... and that ever present steamed White Rice.

I had an appalling Chinese takeaway today, because no-one (except the Chinese) works on 1st May. No culinary activity in Pto Ordaz today either, so I'm bored out of my tiny mind.
Little do they know, a whirlwind is going to hit the kitchen tomorrow...
