Yeah, my husband had a largish piece and went back for seconds. He usually doesn't make much noise when he eats but he was kinda humming a little while he ate...and twice he said, "Yummy."Looks like you'll have some leftover so I'm on the way.
If it's really yummy the only noise I make is the ice in the glass...
Well if I am eating alone, I am unlikely to make any noises eating and I would guess he is the same (who knows). I am quite sure he just wanted me to know he liked/loved my food, which he only does when he thinks it's exceptional.
How right you are! Any kind of smacking or chewing gets a look see and possibly a sniff.
The toast? The egg looks just fine to me!
I tend to eat alone because I get really into food, while I'm eating it. Not like eroticly or anything, but the taste the texture, the way ingredients work with one another to form the flavor profile. I just can't get enough of it and I make yummy moans and mmmmmmm's. I love that I never get sick of the flavors that make me do that. Until it's all gone, and then I'm sad and fat and want more.

It was just right. Separate grains and done. CookieMonster posted a method in the Basmati thread about weighing the water and rice opposed to volumes like all I've ever heard. I'll be trying that method next go around I cook rice.

The egg was just a tad overdone. The yolk didn't run even though it was liquid in the middle. You can tell by the outer edge of it being solid.
