The chat room is informal and lightly-to-not moderated, with messages being temporary, so it’s ideal for friendly back-and-forth that would otherwise derail discussions. We went out with all the family to a barbecue restaurant in downtown Rochester. I had a brisket cheesesteak with a couple of different funky house-made things on it, and MrsT had ribs with coleslaw and some kind of sweet potato soufflé thingy.
 
I roasted some potatoes near the fire last night.
By the time they were done, the fire was too low and the remaining wood not dry enough for the marinated belly pork.
So I had potatoes only.
Belly pork is for tonight. Might not go over wood fire as we had 75 mm rain early morning...

Mrs. GH and I went out for dinner at an upscale restaurant. We ordered a half dozen Well Fleet oysters for an appetizer (super briny and delicious), and then I had the steak and sea scallops, with lobster mac 'n cheese and roasted wild mushrooms with truffle butter. Mrs. GH had the same, but with shrimp and and scallops. Everything was fantastic! 😋
