I'm not vegan, but at least your hospital food looks fresh. My last hospital meal was a breast of chicken that was so tough, I couldn't eat it. The veggies were overcooked, but at least edible.

Today's meal was two bratwurst sandwiches with French fries.

The sandwiches included horse radish, mustard and sauer kraut.

Thick-cut bacon rendered until crispy, then Brussels sprouts par-cooked, then pan fried in the bacon grease. Served with a balsamic reduction.
