What did you cook or eat today? (October 2025)

In a hurry to open the new jowl bacon so finish the old with some carbonara. Liberal splash of white wine in the pot at the end... 😃

DH teases me that I have too food in the deep freeze.
WELLLLL ...
Today was a long bloody day and I'm so happy that I had some of my Paniolo Chili in there to easily de-frost and heat.

While that was happening in the sidelines, I made that ever present White Rice in my spankin' new electric Rice Cooker!!!

WOW! This puppy worked so well! No more scorched rice on the bottom, just beautiful Calrose Rice.
And who's Salt Cellar did I see that looks just like mine?!
