Nor have I. Nor would I. Just wrap them in foil and stick them in the oven for 5 minutes, so they warm up. Microwaving gives things a chewy texture, in my opinion.

I have my homemade chicken soup going. It's probably done but I will just let it simmer awhile. Dinner at around 11 probably.

Dinner last night was butter chicken 2 for 1 deal. So the other 1 for tonight.
Shirl had tandoori cutlets.
I'll microwave it later.

Chicken Pot Pie for two, perfect size, from a farm a few miles away. the one that I pissed and moaned about raising the price on a whim from $13.95 to $19.95 just like that!
Oh well, as medtran49 told me, it's worth the price for two folks.
And come on man! Look at that filling, it's loaded down with fresh veg (can you see that the Carrots aren't peeled, love it) very filling and delicious.

Carrots. Cut with my new kitchen tool.
They used to be slices from a peeler, but now that I've had julienned, I prefer them. Mose substance.

Thought they were but wanted to check it wasn't squash or sweet potato. I recently saw sweet potato used raw and grated in a slaw.

The new peeler is doing a good job.

I had a recipe pop up on YT in my recommended list. I'm guessing YT's algorithm is picking up on the word Italian in a lot of the recent recipes I've been looking at. As this one is called Italian Hot Chocolate.

All I can say is I won't be having a chocolate craving anytime soon.

Chocolate, cocoa powder, milk, sugar with a little salt and corn starch.
Smooth and creamy.

And since it was so close to noon, about half an airplane bottle of peppermint schnapps
