What did you cook or eat today? (October 2025)

I'm intrigued by these and watched the little video of how they work. The results look OK and I might check them out. My cupboards are getting a bit cluttered though. :/

I've used Kenji's 'strain' method in the past that has been fairly consistent.
Maybe my screen wasn't fine enough but this was an utter fail. Totally stuck in the screen...

I have these poach cups with the holes. They work good.
But I went back to poaching eggs, in a pot of water with salt and/or vinegar. I swirl the water and dump in up to 6 eggs. Gently simmer 2 1/2 minutes. I like the yolk better than the whites, so I love that the white separates, and I get a yolk nicely coated with a small amount of white.
