I thought it must be avocado but the green is so deep and intense I began to wonder. What type of avocados were they?Thank you. Mashed avocado (splash lime juice, salt, and pepper) on toast with a sprinkle of Everything but the Bagel seasoning.
I’m not sure. Probably Haas. The deep, dark green, dull, bumpy ones.I thought it must be avocado but the green is so deep and intense I began to wonder. What type of avocados were they?
I was thinking the same, I'd put the egg in the water first. Never tried it with a strainer.I've used that method but with a little tea strainer with a finer mesh. I don't use the strainer to lower into the water though.

I ate there once. I loved the linguine with white clam sauce. They closed during COVID.We went to Carrabba's last night (casual Italian) and they had their "buy a meal take one home for $10" deal. I got the chicken trio (chicken prepared 3 ways) I always get with fettuccine with 1 to bring home. DH got lobster ravioli. I've got enough precooked food to last for a few days with leftover chicken soup and Carrabba's.
Last night I had a dream about lobster.
There were three left, sitting on shaved ice where more had been, with a big for sale sign and a price that said $14 per lobster.
And one was double the size of the others, and they were large to begin with, but one of the claws was cracked and the legs broken off.
But since they were already boiled, I passed.
OK. Carry on
