🌹 Still trying to get it right. 🤷♀️
Went for hibachi tonight. Told the cook/chef I loved garlic. He added a lot of butter and garlic when cooking my steak. Then at the end he fried up a little more and topped my steak. No vampires tonight.
We served quite a few portions of that this afternoon!Aloo gobi. I have loads of cauliflower!

On the side and not pictured is some homemade Bread from My Neighborhood Gal Pal, she dropped it off this morning, still warm... we've eaten half the loaf already![]()
I wish I could send you someYes. I used 1/2 Tbsp of regular lime peel zest and 3 shredded kaffir leaves in the paste I made. The recipe came from True Thai by Victor Sodsook, page 34. I didn't have a whole kaffir lime, unobtainable here, so went with what I did have. I can buy the leaves in hand frozen packages at a Thai store 80 miles away. They're like $3.20 for a dozen or so.
Made the paste here.

I have never seen Liver and onions frozen dinners around here.It may not look very appetising but this cheap ready meal in the microwave for lunch is actually quite nice!

Boneless chicken thighs for sandwich meat.
Cooked using two shakey premix things I was given (going for any shortcut that’ll do today)

A taste test left me underwhelmed with the chinese rub (it’s ok just a bit too mild) but the garlic one (which is quite salty) is lovely. I’d buy it again.
