What did you cook or eat today (September 2025)?

So far I've completed roasting some bones for broth.

Oven roasted bone-in skin-on Chicken Thighs, diced Sweet Potatoes and deconstructed Brussel Sprouts quick stir fried with Garlic to a crisp-tender.
DH said, "pass".
:eek:
"Nothing has any taste."
:eek::eek::eek:
There are times that he can't taste things, so there's that.
I must break my arm patting my own back, it was all delicious.
🤷‍♀️

How did the skin turn out? I often have fights with chicken thigh skin, trying to get it how I want it.

Puggles I asked Professor Bing for the best way to oven roast bone-in skin-on chicken thighs and came up with this:

Cook's Note: I did not line the sheet pan so that the skin got full contact with the hot pan. I left the sheet pan in the oven at 450° for 30 minutes and those puppies sizzled GOOD when I laid them skin-side down.
They were so juicy and tender and dang delicious!!

Normally, I buy b/s frozen thighs from Costco, but I had popped in to Safeway the other to pick up a stray ingredient I'd missed in my grocery haul.
I do like to wander around grocery stores to see what in store specials they have, but I don't usually buy the bone-in skin-on Puggles
