What did you cook or eat today (September 2025)?

I can imagine it hasn’t sold as well as expected.
There’s still a large tranche of people out there who think fat is bad for you and buy lean meat.
I’m so glad we’ve finally moved away from the bland awful plain low fat meat that pervaded every supermarket shelf but it’s still there and sales of it are still strong 😞
 
Making a simple cherry tomatoes sauce with some fresh thyme, garlic and Grana Padano rind

For lunch I tried to recreate McDonalds breakfast burritos.I think they turned out pretty good.
I scrambled 2 eggs,sautéed some red pepper,shredded some cheddar cheese,chopped up some green onions and some cherry tomatoes and I used 2 small whole wheat tortilla wraps to put everything into.Then I cooked up a hash brown in the oven and I had some green grapes on the side.Also I forgot I put some salsa in the wraps as well.
Boy was it good.
