Yeah, I don't know if anyone else dusts theirs with panko or not, but probably. It gives them a nice light crunch and I fry them in butter and top with fried eggs. Yum.

Okay, apparently it's a pretty common thing.

Close enough. Potato pancakes. Different from has browns in that they were made from leftover mashed potatoes then lightly breaded with panko before pan frying.
