What we call Canadian bacon is called back bacon in Canada.

I get Irish back bacon not Canadian bacon. I don't really care for Canadian bacon.

Coconut Shrimp/Prawns with a Curry Coconut Sauce ($11usd) - very tasty!

I agree. Its wonderfully fragrant and it can be used grated (straight from freezer) both in dishes and over the top, as a garnish.
I didn't know that. I think that's where my latest fresh tumeric purchase will be finding its home today.
They seem it fresh in my "local" supermarket but it's not cheap at $45/kg! ) roughly £22.50/kg.
