I guess it would be handy because after you cook the bacon you could use it to store your bacon grease, but the problem is it doesn't have a lid. And your bacon is going to have a bend in the middle.
If it's vintage, does that mean it existed before microwaves were invented so it was intended for oven use? I could hardly wrap my head around heating up the whole oven to cook 6 slices, I think I will stick with the ability to cook a pound of bacon (probably 14 slices) on a baking sheet. Or 2 pounds on a half sheet.
Tea and bacon, IDK know how the two things are related other than maybe eating/drinking at the same time, but would you use the same device/utensil to make bacon and tea? Sounds like a PITA to wash...and would why someone would spend that much money on a mug for tea when one can be purchased (minus the fancy slit for the string) for $5 or less!?
