Still don't understand how the particular image relates to this concept.
Her job is a waxer (I guess that’s what you’d call it), and she’s dead-tired after all the work she’s had to do for the run up to Valentine’s Day.
The joke is really a comment on all the people making their naughty bits look nice for some Valentine’s Day action, when for the rest of the year, they’ve probably let things go a bit with the grooming.
