I taught two of my kids how to play chess. The other two weren't interested. The two that learned ended up excelling in math class. The other two are more language/arts oriented. Odd thing is, I was a member of the chess team during 7th and 8th grade and it did not help my math skills at all, LOL.

So we have some chess players here! I used to be very good 'back in the day' as they say. I'm not off topic because the fact we have some chess players here makes me smile.
