I have spent most of the afternoon outside, TVC put the sails up over the decking so we were not in full sun. Just chilling after a long, busy weekend.

You got me thinking about my boats, especially the two sailboats. Quietly gliding across the lake, beers in hand. Sometimes the wind would pick up late in the day. I'd snug up the mainsheet and get the boat moving and heeling over a bit. I liked to get them heeling over to the point of a little water lapping into the boat, but some of my guests were not too keen on that. My Catalina was self bailing, so five or ten gallons of water over the side disappeared in seconds. Still a bit disconcerting for someone who is not expecting it.

It looks as if that deer is being interviewed by the local TV news, which is funny enough, but it’s exactly what an over-confident deer would say during hunting season. The “hosers in orange” is a reference to hunters.

This is a photo I took whilst we were out on tour.
Bare in mind that this was in a national cycling route and this was the only indication of a low bridge .
I'm 1.68cm (5'6").
