Having chooks, I have seen enough bumblefoot to see it immediately. Always on the soft pad on the underneath. It's what takes the pounding when they jump off a perch onto the ground, and in time infecting sets in. It forms like a calus, or wart even that gets infected over time.

Don't mind when they're attached, dead or alive, but not as food.
